Steiner, 43, of Smithton RD, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002. He was born Nov. 26, 1958, in Charleroi, a son of Elma Kirkpatrick Steiner of Smithton RD and the late Edward C. Steiner Sr. He was a truck mechanic, having worked for Palko Trucking. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Logan Lon and Rachel Steiner; three sisters, Darlene Bryner, Cindy Smith and Laurie Baker, all of Smithton RD; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward C.
